Bloopers...Month 1

Well, since we've shown you some of the greatest hits, it's only fitting that we show you how things really are around here. This last month has been very interesting, but a blast none-the-less. The following image is proof that we really don't have it all under control.

Greatest Hits...Month 1

Wow! It's already been one month. I know people warned us that time would fly and Audrey would grow up so fast, but nobody said it would defy the laws of physics (sorry for my geeky engineering reference)!! We've had a great first month with Audrey and look forward to hundreds more. Below are a handful of images that attempt to capture some of the greatest hits of her first month of life.

The Grandparents visit

Audrey has been blessed with the greatest sets of grandparents a child could ask for. From buying her endless amounts of clothing to holding her for endless hours, both Grammy and Grandad and Nana and Papa have already shown their great love for their newest grandchild.

We greatly appreciate the time you have spent here helping us and loving on us in Texas. There are no words that appropriately describe what it means to us to have you travel so far to express your love and excitement for us. We love you so much!

My new room!

It's about time Mom and Dad finished my room! I have to say though, it's a pretty cool place.

Look at all my clothing!

Here I am in my new bed. It's so comfortable.

Daddy's girl

Well, it's official! My daughter has truly captured my heart. From the very first day, she has been a daddy's girl; and I am completely wrapped around her finger. Before her second day in this world was over, I had already decided that she can't date, drive, or ever leave home! I'm kidding of course, but having a child does significantly realign what you consider important in life. The trivial things seem even more trivial, and the important things...much more important. I am greatly looking forward to the future 'father/daughter' relationship ahead of me. I hope that she learns from me the way a man should treat her. Although I'm expecting hard times (puberty...mom will need to handle that), I know there are sweet blessings all along the way. One day, I assume I'll give her hand away in marriage; and if my role is successful, it'll be to another man who will love her just as I do already.
