End of Summer 2009

Hi Friends!

The end of Summer 2009 flew by...and here we are flying through October. Geesh. :) Sometimes blogging feels like homework so I (Elizabeth) avoid it as long as possible. The pictures are piling up so I figured it was time to get back at it...

We had a very busy summer- lots of travel and a visit from Nana and Papa. You'll see pics below from our trip to CO- Jeremy hiked for a week with his buddies and I stayed back at the cabin with some of the girls and kiddos. I didn't get any pictures of the mountains for some reason...?! It was a blast and as always, we didn't want to come home. :) I also included some pics from Papa and Jeremy's triathlon in Austin.

Our little Audrey keeps getting cuter and funnier (and the terrible two moments are getting uglier and less funny). :) We are still spending lots of time in books and playing dress up. Her two new obsessions are Mr. Potato Head and Snow White. She can even name all seven dwarves!

Check back soon for pics from our Disney trip!

Bed head. This is what I have to tackle every morning.

I took this pic at the outdoor craft market in Buena Vista, CO.
Audrey fell in love with this giant bear!

Audrey and Joshua Reeder playing the piano at the cabin in CO.
I took this pic right after Joshua leaned over and kissed her...Audrey was giddy. :)

Our good friend Marty joined us for a few days so she could visit
her son Blake who was working at YL's Frontier Ranch!

Don't mess with a grumpy two year old.

This was during her Wall-E phase.

Helping daddy wash the truck!

We made a stop at Lance Armstrong's bike shop in Austin while there
for the triathlon. We ate breakfast at his cafe- Juan Pelota's
(do some research to find out why he chose that name). :)

Audrey was inspired...

Waiting for the bats...

Jeremy's group about to swim!

One side said "Go Papa Go!" and the other side said "Go Daddy Go!" :)

Finishing the swim...

Thank heavens for playdoh.
It was the only way we made it through the triathlon!

Go Jeremy Go!

Jeremy's the second one from the left. In the home stretch!

Jeremy and Papa at the finish line.
We are SO proud! The Austin Tri is no small thing! :)

Disney pics coming soon...
Lots of love to all!
