Well, it's official! My daughter has truly captured my heart. From the very first day, she has been a daddy's girl; and I am completely wrapped around her finger. Before her second day in this world was over, I had already decided that she can't date, drive, or ever leave home! I'm kidding of course, but having a child does significantly realign what you consider important in life. The trivial things seem even more trivial, and the important things...much more important. I am greatly looking forward to the future 'father/daughter' relationship ahead of me. I hope that she learns from me the way a man should treat her. Although I'm expecting hard times (puberty...mom will need to handle that), I know there are sweet blessings all along the way. One day, I assume I'll give her hand away in marriage; and if my role is successful, it'll be to another man who will love her just as I do already.

What a great picture and a great post! Yes, there are hard times ahead, but they are worth it. Daughters are a blessing, a way that God brings beauty to our lives. Enjoy all of it!
Audrey is Beautiful...look at all that hair! Congrats Jeremy and Liz!! What a Blessing! Wish I could see her but TX is a LONG ways away! I am glad I will be able to see pics of her on this blog!! What a great idea.
Take care of her and cherish every moment. It goes by all too fast. Love you guys and miss you horribly, Aunt Kathie
